We have Kittens! I know I know youre all thinking….um dont yuou work for a vet? dont you fix your animals? Well the answer is YES, but in my defense most cats dont go into heat during the winter months and Witch Hazel has been too young to spay. So apparently she went into heat and we witnessed the conception. ha ha. and me being me i couldnt spay her after that. abortion is abortion no matter what so… Witch Hazel had her kittens! May 9th. she had them while i was at work. I came homme to 5 adorable little kitties. 2 orange tabby males. 1 all gray female. 1 gray and white male and an adorable little torti colored female.

They are so fun

We went 4 wheeling and swimming golfing and had an absolute blast! It rained up at home the whole time so it was nice to be in good weather. We got fried!

There is a story behind this building. i will attatch the story. But this is basically an old building from first settlers in the area

The beautiful Virgin River. We've never seen it running this high!

Coolest rock formation! If you look close all of it is actually pushed up against gravity. All formed by Volcanic Lava

We bought a project horse. He is 3 years old Leopard Appaloosa. Poor guy was not treated well where he came from so hes is becoming alot of work. We have hope for him and we will be able to find him an awesome home in about a month.
We believed the name RENEGADE would be very fitting.

beautiful Animal

Kirsten, Britton (nephew), Kaia (niece), and Chezney were able to come visit this last week! We had so much fun with them! Brittons birthday was the end of March and we deemed it appropriate coming to visit Uncle Ethan and Aunt Shaela that he has full Cowboy Up clothing for riding the horses!
My dad also came to visit and was the purchaser of these fine cowboy attire. yes his cowboy boots were even “John Deere“. He was the cute3st cowboy in town and LOVED riding the horses!
Sadly Ethan had to work and was not able to come ride the horses with us. Fortunately we all did go out to eat afterwards. MMMM SUHI!! Thanks Dad! Then we Saturday Kirsten went home and Chez gets to staty for the rest of the week. We are having a blast!

We had SOOOO much fun! Ethan kept pulling me around
This year was VERY hard for me. It was the first time in my entire 24 years of life that i have not had my mom with me for Christmas. Every one kept telling me to just go up to my aunt Teris house (my moms identical twin) so it will feel like it was my mom. Well hate to break it to you but when you grow up with identical twins your whole life…its not QUITE the same, ALTHOUGH Teri is a BIG help in certain things when i cant get a hold of my mom.
What did we do for Christmas? We still went up to Teri and Craigs house like we do every Christmas eve. We always stop at my Grandma and Grandpa Tates house on the way up. Its always nice to see that side of the family! We had a GREAT dinner at Teri’s house, which sadly i couldnt eat very well, remember my tonsils!
( We then opened our presents from each other and our “pajamas” and had our little lesson. We also got to watch “The Christmas Orange” which i HIGHLY recommend. Its a very sweet story. especially at Christmas time. Can i just tell you how awesome SKYPE is too?! We got to skype with my sister and her family during it in Colorado! It was great to see them and the adorable niece and nephew!
Even though my mom couldnt be there this year my Dad came down and spent the night with us! It was fun to have him. I cant remember the last time I had Christmas MORNING with him. It was fun. We got lots of things. Nothing MAJOR this year though. Since i had gotten my tonsils out and missed a few weeks of work money was tight, Its the thought that counts not the presents though, right?! Ethan got a LOT of clothes (one shirt he loves so much i think he has worn it almost every day) (picture to come soon). I got lots of clothes too, and my sister gave us the bestest of all DONKEY KONG RETURNS for the WII. We have had SOOO much fun with it! Thanks Kirsten and Mark (and kids).
Christmas afternoon it is tradition to go to a movie on Christmas so, we went to lunch and a movie with our good friends Kevin and Kelcie. It was my first REAL meal since my tonsils being out it was FABULOUS! We went to see TRUE GRIT. It was an awesome movie. I am a sucker for westerns though!
By The way more pictures of Christmas to come!

Our Beautiful Christmas tree (with little Kiwi posing at the bottom, I loved it!)

Pictures from Christmas Eve!

DONKEY KONG RETURNS
Sadly we were not able to make it up to Temple Square this uear because of my tonsil surgery. It is sad because 1 it is absolutely GORGEOUS up there and 2 it is where Ethan and i got engaged!
) so we try to make it up there. this was our 3rd Christmas together. WOW how time flies!
So atleast my cousin Cassie is an AWESOME photographer and they made it for us. She took this BEAUTIFUL picture of the Salt Lake Tmeple. Thanks Cassie!! It now hangs on the wall at the top of the stairs. It is absolutely stunning!

Salt Lake Temple at Christmastime
So I kinda stole this from my cousins blog but at Christmas time i thin it is very appropriate and Cassie wont mind, Thanks Cass love ya!

THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS
By the magical light of a small Christmas candle
A little old man tries to carefully handle
The small porcelain manger which serves as a bed
For the wee Baby Jesus to lay down His head.
In wonder he brings the manger up to his view,
Smiles at the baby and whispers, “I love you!
I love you for bringing this season of joy,
I love you for growing to a man from a boy;
For being our light and leading the way,
For being the spirit which makes Christmas Day!
You’ve been my mentor, my model, my hero and guide,
Please continue to help me and stay by my side.
I’ve tried to follow your teachings and give as you gave,
Reminding all to be kind and that it’s wise to behave.
Help me to serve others and bring them your light,
Especially the children, please bless them tonight!
Some have so very little, scarce food for their table,
You know how it feels – you were born in a stable!
Bless all their mothers and fathers with a knowledge that’s sure,
The best gift they can give is their love, strong and pure.
That’s the Spirit of Christmas when all’s said and done,
God’s gift of love, that came as His Son!”
Then back to His mother the child is returned
The Nativity glows as the candle is burned.
In a wink the little old man slips quietly away
Some say he goes up the chimney and climbs in a sleigh.
Whatever the case, His mission is clear -
Give unto others, bringing love and good cheer.
He flies into the night and bids us adieu
Doing for others what Jesus would do!
